National Lottery Community Fund available in Wales

The National Lottery Community Fund Rural programme will award up to £4 million for projects to tackle rural poverty in Wales. 

It’s open for communities with 10,000 people or less, mainly within Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Powys, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire or Monmouthshire.

Grants of up £500,000 are available, and the deadline for applications is 12:00 on 1 October 2019.

Examples of groups funded through a previous awarding round of the Rural Programme in 2017/8 include:

  • Pembrokeshire Association of Community Transport Organisation (PACTO) has received £311,276 to offer affordable transport, addressing unmet travel needs in rural areas by creating a system for lift-sharing across the county. 
  • South Denbighshire Community Partnership supported by Citizen’s Advice Denbighshire has also received £349,847 supporting older people and those unable to access services in eight villages surrounding Corwen in Denbighshire.

Bydd Rhaglen Wledig Cronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol yn dyfarnu hyd at £4  miliwn ar gyfer prosiectau i daclo tlodi gwledig yng Nghymru.

  • Mae Partneriaeth Gymunedol De Sir Ddinbych, wedi'i chefnogi gan Gyngor ar Bopeth Sir Ddinbych, hefyd wedi derbyn £349,847 i gefnogi pobl hŷn a'r rhai na allant gyrchu gwasanaethau mewn wyth pentref o amgylch Corwen yn Sir Ddinbych.
