Trusts and Foundations
We are grateful to have the support of many incredible trusts and foundations, who are supporting us in our mission to help 10,000 farming families across the UK. Without their contributions, we would be able to build confident rural communities or enable family farms to thrive through our many initiatives and programmes. We share an understanding that a thriving countryside is the foundation for a thriving nation. Together we are creating a real future for rural Britain.
If you are a trustee of, or have links to, a charitable trust or foundation which might be interested in supporting us, please get in touch with our Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer, Lindsay.
We are delighted to have received support from many trusts and foundations, including:
People’s Postcode Lottery
- The Covid-19 relief that the People’s Postcode Lottery provided helped us support thousands of people in rural communities during a time of crisis. In total, the support they provided enabled over 3,000 shopping runs and 20,000 hot meals delivered to people in isolation.
- Beyond Covid-19 relief, the People’s Postcode Lottery has consistently provided generous support that enables us to run many of our most successful projects, including Supporting Rural Communities and the Confident Rural Communities Network.
NFU Mutual Charitable Trust
The NFU Mutual Charitable Trust provided vital support for our grant-making programme, which allowed us to fund grass-roots initiatives covering a range of projects and geographic locations. The funding they provided also helped support our annual Farm Resilience Programme.
Betty Lawes Foundation
The Betty Lawes Foundation has been a long-standing supporter of The Prince’s Countryside Fund and has provided unrestricted funding that enable us to carry out our activities across the UK.
The National Lottery Community Fund
Provided the salary for our Farm Support Coordinator, who has created a network of more than 40 Farm Support Groups. By helping these incredible organisations to better collaborate and share knowledge, our coordinator promotes best practice among FSGs.
Royal Warrant Holders Association
By providing a generous grant during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, the RWHA Charity Fund helped guarantee we could continue our various initiatives and grant-making programme. This ensured that our beneficiaries received support they badly needed during the pandemic.
The Hobson Charity
The Hobson Charity kindly provided funds for the catering and venue hire for our 2021 Farm Resilience Programme. Without their support, farming families across the UK could not have attended vital workshops that provided financial and environmental advice.
Cairnfold Charitable Trust
- The Cairnfold Charitable Trust’s donation contributed to the running costs for the Farm Resilience Programme in Scotland. Thanks to their support, we were able to provide support to some of the country’s most “hard-to-reach” locales.
