National Countryside Week

National Countryside Week is The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s annual awareness and fundraising campaign. Over the years, we’ve Walked a Country Mile, visited fantastic British food producers, soaked up the sun at BBC Countryfile Live – and most importantly, raised awareness of our work as a charity and much needed funds to allow us to do even more.

Inspiring Support

This year, National Countryside Week will take place from 7 to 15 August at Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park. We’re excited to be launching our new supporters programme, Friends of the Countryside, as well as hosting a number of activities for all the family with our partners! Tea for the Countryside

Help us raise funds and create a real future for rural Britain.

Why not host a Tea for the Countryside  – a celebratory tea party to raise money to support our work. Tea for the Countryside will bring people together, celebrate all the great British countryside has to offer, and raise awareness of the challenges facing rural communities. Tea for the Countryside can be adapted to suit your individual organisation’s needs and resources: the event can be held any time between June and December and can be of any size or flavour! We would love to see as many people as possible celebrating our beautiful countryside and raising vital funds for those in need in our rural communities.

If you would like to hold a Tea for the Countryside, we will send you a fundraising pack with all the information you need. It will include decorations, a collection box, an event poster, games for children, and advice to make your event a success.

This summer, the #ThankYouFarmers campaign will thank British farmers and growers for their tireless work throughout the pandemic producing food for our tables; work which is all too often forgotten or taken for granted. In turn, it seems a poignant time to draw the public’s attention to the high quality produce that is grown and reared in the UK.

Companies who’d like to join in with the campaign can request promotional stickers featuring our logo, in return for a 10% contribution of sales. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your business’ commitment to charity and the great British countryside, helping farming and rural communities in need.

We will be championing this campaign and supporting companies across our social media, website, and events throughout the summer.
