The Sustainable Agriculture Bursary

The Sustainable Agriculture Bursary

Jordans Cereals, long term partners of the Fund, are passionate about creating a more sustainable world around us. Farming plays a huge role in the long-term health of our planet because food is so integral to our everyday lives.

This is why Jordans and The Prince’s Countryside Fund have launched our very own Sustainable Agriculture Bursary, to actively care for our nature by making farming more sustainable in the future.

Available exclusively to agriculture undergraduates at the Royal Agricultural University and the University of Reading, the Sustainable Agriculture Bursary has been designed to offer funding support, expert mentoring, Alumni activity, a stand out CV and much more.

Every year, undergraduates will be granted a Sustainable Agriculture Bursary from Jordans and The Prince's Countryside Fund, with winners chosen from a panel of judges from Jordans, The Prince's Countryside Fund and the Universities.

The winning five undergraduates for the 2019 academic year are Christabel Bishop (RAU), Elena Chapman (RAU), Elliot Cole (Reading), Ed Fearnall (Reading) and Trystan Williams (RAU).

The winning six undergraduates for the 2020 academic year are Alice Lloyd (RAU), Eliot Pears (RAU), Philip Betteridge (RAU), Astrid Stubbings (Reading), Dan Weaver (Reading), and Grace Parrish (Reading). Learn more here.

Applications for 2021 will open in winter 2020/21.
