A Fund Farewell to three of our Trustees

At the Fund’s December Board of Trustees meeting, three of our Trustees retired from their position as Trustee of the Fund. All of them have been instrumental in the setting up of the Fund, and have provided us with guidance, support and encouragement throughout their time as Trustees.

Charity Raceday raises over £1 million

On Friday 24 November, The Prince’s Countryside Fund held its third charity raceday at Ascot, which was attended by the Fund’s Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, and The Duchess of Cornwall.
HRH The Prince of Wales visits flood victims in Northern Ireland

On Friday 19th October, our Patron HRH The Prince of Wales visited communities affected by the recent flooding in Northern Ireland. He went to the Eglinton Community Centre, and the Londonderry YMCA, to meet local residents and business owners who were affected by the flood. He spoke to volunteers, emergency services personnel and officials who have been assisting with the clean up efforts and recovery of the area.

Only one in five family farms able to survive on farming alone

New research by The Prince’s Countryside Fund (the Fund) carried out by the Andersons Centre has found that fewer than one in five farm businesses is making a profit from farming activity alone.
Warburtons teams up with The Prince’s Countryside Fund

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is delighted to be partnering with Warburtons, who will be displaying the Fund’s logo on the packaging of their famous Seeded Batch loaf from mid-October 2017. The logo has been added to the packaging of both the 400g and 800g Seeded Batch, and coincides with Warburton’s latest advertising campaign.
