New Holland 'Up to Speed' Scheme

New Holland, partners of The Prince’s Countryside Fund , are dedicated to supporting British agriculture and farmers. In a climate where agriculture is facing complex challenges, New Holland are working to ensure farmers can succeed in the industry.

To achieve this aim, The Prince’s Countryside Fund and New Holland have launched the Up to Speed scheme, an exciting opportunity for farmers across the UK. The scheme offers three beneficiaries the chance to win the loan of a New Holland machine for a full year.

2021’s winners are Isobel and James Wright, Sam Walton, and James Miller, who won a year’s lease of a TH telehandler, a T6 tractor, and a Boomer compact tractor respectively.

“As new entrants, the farm is our first step into the industry so winning the use of the telehandler will be a great asset to the business. Without the use of the machine, I was expecting many late nights, but now I will get more time to spend with my young family whilst our business grows. It’s great to have the support of New Holland and The Prince’s Countryside Fund.”

Up to Speed is aimed at British farmers who would benefit from the lease of specialist machinery to develop their farming enterprise. This may be:

  1. A new entrant who could use the machine to kick-start their business.
  2. A farmer who is looking to become more efficient on their farm.
  3. A farmer who is looking to develop or diversify current practices.

As long as you can justify how the machine would help you get ‘up to speed’ in your farming business, you are welcome to apply.

“I won the loan of a New Holland T6.165 tractor through the Up to Speed scheme. In May last year I took on some extra land, which I would not have considered without the New Holland tractor. The tractor has given me so much more freedom, saved me time and money – and just made life much easier! In the nine months I’ve had the tractor so far it has enabled my business to grow. I’d urge everyone to apply!”
