Who can join the Farm Resilience Programme?

  • Family farms whose main enterprise is livestock, dairy or mixed.
  • Owner occupied and tenanted farms.
  • Farms using conventional or organic systems.

The whole family is invited to get involved.

Please note that the programme is not suitable for hobby farms, smallholdings or farms which do not have either dairy or livestock as a main enterprise.

Thank you for your interest in applying for the Rural Start-Up Fund.

Forest Holidays and The Prince’s Countryside Fund are dedicated to caring for nature and the environment. To achieve this, we have created the Rural Start-Up Fund, an initiative providing financial support to rural start-up businesses and new entrants. 


Before completing this form, please ensure you have:

  1. Read the application pack.
  2. Created a 60-90 second video introducing yourself. You will be asked to insert the link to this video on the next page - please ensure it is publicly available so we can view it. Guidance on the video is available in the application pack.
The deadline for applications is 12pm (midday) on Monday 25th October 2021

About your work/project – This section is designed to provide The Prince’s Countryside Fund and Forest Holidays with more information about your start-up and how you will use the funding, should you be successful. Please give as much detail as possible, noting that all information must be included in the application form itself. Supporting documents (apart from the video) will not be accepted.
