Miranda Hart

Miranda Hart is a comedian, writer and actress. She is best known for her hugely successful sitcom, Miranda, which ran for four series on the BBC and earned many awards. Her status as one of the UK’s leading actresses was consolidated with her much loved role, Chummy, in the hit BBC 1 drama series Call the Midwife. In 2015 she starred in her first Hollywood movie, Spy, alongside Melissa McCarthy. Miranda made her West End debut in 2017 playing Miss Hannigan in Annie in a triumphant revival at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Miranda is also an author and her first book, Is It Just Me?, was the biggest selling non-fiction hardback of its publication year, staying at number one for 13 weeks and winning Non-Fiction Book of the Year at The National Book Awards. Her second book, Peggy and Me, came out in October 2016 and her first children’s novel, The Girl With The Lost Smile, in October 2017.
