| WiRE Network Leader Conference 2012 |
On April 25th The Prince’s Countryside Fund attended the WiRE Network Leader Conference at Harper Adams University College. Women in Rural Enterprise is a national organisation supporting rural women who own or want to start a business and provides business support and start up advice. The Prince’s Countryside Fund grant supports their Network Leadership Programme. This aims to develop 12 new network groups in key rural areas. The end result is that new network groups and well trained leaders will have a positive impact on rural communities, helping grow businesses and support a vibrant rural economy. It was a fantastic day giving women who are starting and building rural businesses to come along and pick up information and tips on business know-how and network. |
