The Prince's Countryside Fund Forum

The Prince's Countryside Fund Forum

We held our popular The Forum event on Tuesday 6th December at Church House, Westminster, London.

HRH The Prince of Wales joined rural campaigners, community groups, not for profit organisations and education providers at our Forum event to explore the most effective ways to support the long-term viability of family farms and rural communities.

Sponsored by M&S, The Prince’s Countryside Fund Forum welcomed organisations committed to securing a sustainable future for the countryside and interested in applying for, or already in receipt of, grants from the Fund. Attendees heard presentations from rural leaders and organisations who have received funding including the Plunkett Foundation, Pub is the Hub, Farmer Network, Duchy College and the Tinder Foundation.

To mark the occasion, His Royal Highness was presented with a special book called ‘Our Stories So Far’ featuring messages from grant beneficiaries about how the funding has helped to create legacies for their own communities. Artist Debbie Roberts from Engage Visually also crafted a unique canvas to capture the day’s discussions.

The event was the perfect way for attendees to network and share best practice throughout the day, which also included creative and inspiring workshops.
