Royal Parks Half Marathon

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is excited to offer 4 individuals the chance to run in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Why Support Us

The Prince’s Countryside Fund needs your help to support the people who care for the countryside. The British countryside is an inviable natural asset. To help ensure its future we provide grants of more than £1.5m each year to projects across the UK in order to help rural communities face a range of challenges, we provide support for small family farms whose health and viability is vital for the future of rural communities in the British countryside, we respond to countryside crises and are prepared to financially assist those people most in need when emergencies arise through our Emergency Fund and we commission research into issues affecting farming families and rural communities. The Prince’s Countryside Fund relies on the income we generate through taking part in events such as the Royal Parks Half. We hope we can generate the enthusiasm to get you, your friends and your family to support us in our mission.

Race Day Information

Experience one of the UK’s most popular half marathons, taking place in central London on Sunday 8th October 2017. The Race starts and finishes in Hyde Park and takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks as well as four of London’s eight Royal Parks - Green Park, St James Park, and Kensington Gardens.

The course is flat and therefore could not be better for all running abilities. For the novice runner this is an ideal introduction to a longer distance. For the more seasoned racer it is a genuine opportunity to achieve a personal best. And for those training for a marathon in the New Year/Winter it fits perfectly into your training schedule.

What’s more, the Royal Parks Half Marathon is turning 10 years old and therefore the celebrations will be bigger and better than ever before. We would love to have you in The Prince’s Countryside Fund team to join in the celebrations and help securing a brighter future for the British countryside. We kindly ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £350 and please note there will be a £35 registration fee.
